Jim Song is the Director of American KGP Inc., an import/export wholesale distribution company that has been in the business of serving happy customers with quality products since 1979. He is an engineer turned entrepreneur. After 7 years as an engineer at The Boeing Company, in 2008 he left his job and completed a 365 day trip through 16 countries around the world that changed his life and gave him new perspectives and inspiration.

He loves to create and improve the products that they use on a daily basis and genuinely enjoys building relationships every day. Today, he manages a bakery supply distribution company and an on-the-shelf coffee manufacturing company. He looks for opportunities to build his experience in managing people and puts it to use to grow businesses.

He has been supporting non-profit organizations since his early days in high school and throughout the course of his professional career. Some of his past involvements include Korean American Professional Society – Seattle, Korean American Coalition – Seattle, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, and Asian Professional Exchange. Jim has been on the board of Asian Business Association since 2015 and currently serves as the Treasurer.

Jim grew up in Orange County, CA and holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA. He loves to stay active in fitness and continues to travel in his free time.
