The late Dale Fukamaki was the principal owner and president of Dale Fukamaki & Associates, a materials handling company. To service the aerospace industry and the “405 Corridor” of multi-national firms with large warehouses, the family-owned business was located in the Gardena area.

Dale Fukamaki was ABA’s co-founder and founding president. His goal as president of the new Asian Business Association was to educate and remind major corporations and government purchasing that Asians are a minority group, as well, and their businesses ARE minority-owned.

Prior to becoming ABA’s first president, Dale had cultivated an excellent relationship and reputation among major corporations and government agencies. His brand of diplomacy and class definitely put ABA on the playing field with the Latin Business Association, the Black Business Association, and the Native Americans. His vision for ABA was to have a pan-Asian membership and board of directors.
