Panney Wei is an award-winning Motivational Speaker and Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist/Empowerment Coach and Chief Empowerment Officer of See the Way Consulting, inspiring individuals especially women to unleash their human potential, overcome obstacles, and achieve their dreams with long-lasting transformation through hypnotherapy, coaching, keynotes, and workshops.

Her ancestry includes one of China’s greatest statesmen and military leaders in the Qing dynasty, General Tso Tsung-tang, the Marquis Kejing, also immortalized in pop culture by the popular dish, General Tso’s Chicken, and her maternal grandfather, Taiwan Senator Albert Liu so Panney continues their legacy of service and activism to her community on the board or advisory council for several impactful organizations as an activist at the intersection of the arts, entertainment, and politics. She has served as a National Senior Advisor for the National Association of Asian American Professionals in which she is the Founder of the national women’s leadership program, Women in NAAAP, recognized by Forbes Women, a board member of AREAA Greater LA, a board member for the Asian Youth Center and the Vincent Price Museum, a member of the AREAA National Affordable Housing Task Force Committee, as well as on the Advisory Board for the National Asian Artist Project and as the former State Secretary of the California Democratic Asian Pacific Islander Caucus and former board member for Kollaboration and the LA Asian Pacific Film Festival. 

She has won numerous awards including Top 40 Global Emerging Leaders from the National Association of Asian MBA’s (now ASCEND), the American Courage Award from Asian Americans Advancing Justice, Outstanding Asian Americans in Business by the Asian American Business Development Center, the Silver Award for the Asian Business Awards from the Los Angeles Business Journal, and top 100 Taiwanese Americans by Taiwanese.org as well as being nominated by the LA Business Journal’s Women in Business Awards and Best in Healthcare awards each year. 

Panney is also an investor/restauranteur and passionate about projects and brands that are making a difference, promoting unity, joy and bringing our community together, and bridging cultures. She is an investor in Momofuku Global Restaurant Group with James Beard award winning Chef David Chang, Impossible Foods, Chef Ayesha Curry, and the newly launched Boba Ice Cream which is in Sprouts nationwide, GoPuff, and Instacart, and select Panda Express stores in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. She is also a partner with Niku X with Michelin starred Chef Shin Thompson, a contemporary Japanese yakiniku restaurant that recently made the 2023 Michelin Guide. 

She also hosts her podcast “See the Way with Panney Wei”, featuring life lessons, success principles, and wisdom from herself, NY Times bestselling authors, and inspiring thought leaders and  luminaries in various fields.
